In 1991, Adriana Lestido was given a photographic grant by the Hassselblad Foundation to realize this photographic project. These photographs were taken in Prison No. 8 Los Hornos, la Plata, Argentina. During one whole year, Adriana Lestido visited it regularly every week to take pictures of women in prison with their children. This is the first part of an ongoing exhibition project ”From the Hasselblad Center Collection”.
