WELCOME TO THE HASSELBLAD FOUNDATION

The Erna and Victor Hasselblad Foundation, established in 1979, is a fully independent, not-for-profit foundation. The main aim of the Foundation is to promote research and academic teaching in the natural sciences and photography. The Foundation also presents an annual international award in photography to “a photographer recognized for major achievements”.

New organization
The activities of the Hasselblad Foundation and the Hasselblad Center are from January 1, 2008 consolidated and will, from now on, be operated by the Hasselblad Foundation. The Hasselblad Center will remain as the name of our exhibition hall at the Göteborg Museum of Art.

A new web site is under preparation.
