Talk: School of Photography 40 years

Talk about the School of Photography in Gothenburg in connection with the school’s 40th anniversary.

The School of Photography played a central role in the changes that took place on the photography scene during the 1980s and 1990s, both in Gothenburg and nationally. Many of the photographers represented in Darkrooms have connections to the school.

This year, the School of Photography turns 40 and to draw attention to this, Lars Lindkvist, Pelle Kronestedt and Andréas Hagström will participate in a talk about the school and its significance to the photography scene in Gothenburg.

LOCATION: Hasselblad Center
TIME: Wednesday the 14th of September, 18.00-19.00.

The talk will be held in Swedish.

LARS LINDKVIST, photographer, senior lecturer at HDK-Valand and former head of the School of Photography.

PELLE KRONESTEDT, photographer, senior lecturer at HDK-Valand and operations manager for the Center for Photography.
