Welcome to the opening of Fotosalongen 2025!

Our ambition is to create a vibrant meeting place where visitors can experience unexpected encounters and surprises – where established artists meet emerging talents, and where photographers who have been active for a long time but have yet to exhibit their work are finally given a well-deserved platform.

Fotosalongen aims to showcase the diversity of photography – from documentary and journalistic work to nature photography, family narratives, street photography, science, politics, and artistic explorations. The selection focuses on the storytelling power of the image and the wide range of visual expression.

The jury behind the selection consists of Pauline Benthede from Fotografiska, artist and author Eva Dahlgren, Paul Hansen from Dagens Nyheter, and Dragana Vujanovic Östlind from the Hasselblad Foundation. The jury will be present at the opening.
