HRH Prince Daniel of Sweden becomes Patron of the Hasselblad Foundation

We are pleased to announce that His Royal Highness Prince Daniel of Sweden will become the Royal Patron of the Hasselblad Foundation. The royal patronage is an important recognition of our work in photography, art, and science. We look forward to working with Prince Daniel to strengthen our commitment to photography and raise awareness of the importance of art in society.

Prince Daniel’s patronage was announced on March 25th when the Prince visited Gothenburg with Prins Daniels Fellowship.

With his background as entrepreneur, Prince Daniel has a strong commitment to issues related to entrepreneurship and the future of young people. In recent years, he has also deepened his interest in art and culture and the importance of these sectors for social development. In 2019, the Crown Princess and Prince Daniel formed Princess Estelle’s Cultural Foundation to promote cultural activities in Sweden. Prince Daniel is an honorary board member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA). In 2013 Prins Daniel’s Fellowship was launched – an initiative that inspires young people to entrepreneurship.
