Welcome to a special guided tour of Fotosalongen 2025 with Annika Elisabeth von Hausswolff – one of Sweden’s most prominent names in contemporary photography.
During this tour, von Hausswolff will guide us through the exhibition based on her personal interpretation of the salon, highlighting the works and themes that have captured her interest in various ways. Through her experienced artistic and photographic lens, we are invited to discover new perspectives on the exhibition’s rich diversity of expressions and narratives.

ANNIKA ELISABETH VON HAUSSWOLFF is a Swedish photographer and visual artist known for exploring themes such as power, violence, vulnerability, and the subconscious through her work. Since her breakthrough in the 1990s, she has had a significant influence on Swedish contemporary photography, with exhibitions both nationally and internationally. In 1999, she represented Sweden at the Venice Biennale, and in 2021, her solo exhibition opened at Moderna Museet in Stockholm. She was educated at Konstfack and the Royal Institute of Art, and currently works as Professor of Photography at HDK-Valand, University of Gothenburg.
