Conversation: From nanoparticles to Arctic landscapes
How can understanding microscopic nanoparticles improve medical diagnostics? How can experiments on changes in Arctic vegetation and carbon balance help us understand and manage the climate crisis?
Welcome to a conversation with researchers Hana Jungová and Mats Björkman, the 2024 recipients of the Hasselblad Foundation’s Young Researchers grant, on research for the health and climate of the future. Together with science communicator Eva Krutmeijer, they will tell you about their research, progress, and challenges, as well as the significance their work may have for the future.
The conversation will be in English.
Time: Wednesday, April 2nd, 12.00-13.00
Place: The Stairs Scene, Gothenburg City Library
Participants:
Mats Björkman, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences, University of Gothenburg
Hana Jungová, Research Scientist at the Department of Physics, Chalmers University
Eva Krutmeijer, Science communicator/Author
