Lunch lecture: The Three-Band Camera – Advancing the Future of Radio Astronomy
How do you develop one of the world’s most advanced telescope instruments – and why is it so crucial for the future of astronomy?
As part of the Hasselblad Foundation’s work to highlight and support scientific research, we invite you to a lunchtime talk with John Conway, radio astronomer at Onsala Space Observatory. The lecture will provide insight into the development of the new three-band camera, the role it will play in the observatory’s research, and how groundbreaking astronomy is carried out here in Sweden.
The lecture will be held in English.
Time: Wednesday, January 21, 2026 12:15–12:45
Place: Gothenburg City Library, Trappscenen
Speaker:
