Fotosalongen 2027

Hasselblad Center

23/4–26/9 2027

In summer 2027, the Hasselblad Foundation will present Fotosalongen for the second time – Sweden’s largest photography salon.

Amateur and professional photographers working across all genres are invited to submit their work through an open call from 1 August to 18 October 2026.

The submitted works will be reviewed by a jury consisting of:

  • Alexandra Ellis, Curator at the Sune Jonsson Centre for Documentary Photography at Västerbottens museum
  • Tarik Saleh, film director
  • Elisabeth Toll, photographer
  • Dragana Vujanović Östlind, Jury Chair and Chief Curator at the Hasselblad Foundation.

Fotosalongen 2027 will bring together a wide range of photographic approaches and perspectives. The exhibition at Hasselblad Center will create unexpected encounters between established artists, emerging talents and photographers whose work has not previously been shown publicly.

The salon aims to reflect the breadth of contemporary photography. We welcome work ranging from documentary photography and photojournalism to nature, family, street, science, politics, and art photography.

There is no set theme. The jury will select compelling images and photographic narratives that demonstrate depth, originality and a diversity of expression. Together, the selected works will offer a broad snapshot of photography today.

The application opens on August 1 at Picter. We look forward to receiving your application.
