A VISITING PROFESSORSHIP IN THE MARINE SCIENCES
The Hasselblad Foundation is now funding a visiting professorship at the new Department of Marine Sciences at the University of Gothenburg. The visiting professorship goes to the leading American researcher Jody Deming, who is an authority on polar marine research.

WATCHED! SYMPOSIUM  - OCTOBER  7-8
Surveillance, Art and Photography in Europe Post 9/11.

The symposium is co-organized by Valand Academy of Arts and the Hasselblad Foundation. It is a part of the project WATCHED! Surveillance, Art and Photography in Europe Post 9/11, which will result in an exhibition at the Hasselblad Center and a forthcoming book in spring 2016.

HASSELBLAD AWARD WINNER 2015
The award ceremony takes place in Gothenburg on November 30, 2015. On December 1, 2015 an exhibition of Tillmans’ work will open at the Hasselblad Center, Sweden.

THE HASSELBLAD AWARD
The Hasselblad Award is an international photography prize that has been awarded annually since 1980, when Lennart Nilsson became the first award winner. Recent award winners include Nan Goldin, Paul Graham and Ishiuchi Miyako. Read more about all the previous winners.
